This November, support the Lighthouse Child Advocacy Center by growing out your beard for a good cause! You won’t want to miss this fun celebration of law enforcement, CAC supporters, and the work of the CAC to bring hope and healing to kids in Wetzel & Tyler Counties.
Registration Information
Pay the $25 registration fee and stop shaving on November 1st. That’s it!
Informational cards will be available to hand out to the public when asked why you aren’t clean shaven that month. A link will be provided on the card for them to learn more about the fundraiser and how they can donate towards your challenge. The more money raised to support your beard-growing, the better. You can get copies of the informational cards by calling 304-398-2311.
By registering, you are granting the Lighthouse CAC permission to post your “before” and “after” photos on social media and the local newspapers. The supporter who raises the most funds and who has grown the best beard will also be posted. No private information will be shared. Please submit a face photo or beard selfie when registering to wetzel_tylercac@yahoo.com
*Law enforcement officers may not solicit funds while in uniform and are subject to the WV Ethics Commission Title 158 Series 7 rule on solicitation of charitable contributions.
