The Lighthouse Child Advocacy Center Team
Our staff of experienced professionals is dedicated to helping victims of abuse find hope and healing through high-quality, evidence-based treatment services.

Executive Director
Susan joined our team in August of 2014 as a part-time Family Advocate. She has been the Executive Director since July of 2015. Susan completed ChildFirst WV Forensic Interview Training to become a Forensic Interviewer in May 2016. She is now the back-up Forensic Interviewer for the CAC. Susan also serves on the Board of Directors for West Virginia Child Advocacy Network (WVCAN) and is the Membership Services Committee Chair. Locally, Susan is an active member of the SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) and both Wetzel and Tyler County MDIT (Multidisciplinary Investigative Team). She has remained focused on the CAC mission and is passionate about providing hope and healing to children and families in Wetzel and Tyler County.

Kelsey joined our team in August of 2022 as a Forensic Interviewer/Advocate. Kelsey completed ChildFirst WV Forensic Interview Training in October 2022 and is the primary Forensic Interviewer for The Lighthouse CAC. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from West Liberty University and previously worked as a Behavior Technician that provided individual treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using Applied Behavior Analysis.

Becky joined our team as an Outreach Advocate in December 2019. Becky splits her time providing Family Advocacy, Forensic Interviewing, and also handles Prevention/Outreach duties. In 2019, all schools in WV were mandated through Erin’s Law to provide Body Safety Education to every student at least 1 time per year, with a strong recommendation for up to 4 times per year. Becky is available to Wetzel and Tyler County schools to do just that. She follows the curriculum designed by the Erin’s Law Task Force and approved by the state Board of Education. Becky has a Master of Science Degree in Forensic Science and believes in the importance of preventative education. Becky and her husband welcomed their first baby into their family in 2021. In May 2022, Becky completed ChildFirst WV Forensic Interview training.

Breauna joined the Lighthouse CAC team in November of 2023 as a part-time Family Advocate. Breauna is currently attending WVU-P and will graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Breauna intends to work full-time as the Family Advocate after graduation. She has proven to be a wonderful addition to our team.
