Breauna Knight

Breauna joined the Lighthouse CAC team in November of 2023 as a part-time Family Advocate.  She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from West Virginia University of Parkersburg on May 11, 2024 and moved into a full-time position as Family Advocate. Though she initially pursued a degree in elementary education, Breauna discovered her true calling after a family violence class led her to tour a Child Advocacy Center. Inspired by the mission, she completed her volunteer work with the Lighthouse CAC and eagerly applied for a Family Advocate position. Now, she’s deeply committed to helping families through challenging times and providing compassionate support.

Breauna’s favorite part of her role is connecting with the incredible families who come through the center and being a source of help during one of their most difficult times.

In her free time, Breauna enjoys horseback riding, reading, baking, and spending time with her two dogs. She lives in Wetzel County with her husband and their pets.
